Really, I don't know why but it seems like most people have gone mad for toilet paper! In the face of Covid19, some people have been panic hoarding tinned foods, dried foods, medicine, hand sanitisers, face masks, vitamins, powdered milk, and ... toilet paper?! So much so that Woolworths have imposed a maximum of 4 packs of toilet paper per person. The average person uses one roll a fortnight so if you have to buy 4 packs of 20 rolls then are you anticipating to be boarded up in your house for the next 3 years?
Even in Japan where the most advanced toilets can be found, toilet paper are flying off the shelves. Who would need it when their toilets can wash and blow dry to music if you wished?
We only have a pack of 12 rolls, but my plan B is to jump into the shower if I ran out of toilet rolls. I doubt I will, as Australia is not reliant on other countries for the manufacture of toilet rolls.
Have you ever wondered what else people in other countries are hoarding?
