Autumn Colours

Gaz and I went to Pirianda Gardens in the mountains on Saturday. The trees and shrubs planted in the Gardens flourishes best in the autumn. The day was marked with gorgeous weather, and even more gorgeous colours! I've always disliked the later half of the year as it brings with it the chill, rain, and grey. But one look at the amazing colours of the garden have changed my mind for the better!

Kitchen Tea Party

I organised a kitchen tea party last Saturday for a dear friend who is getting married in two weeks' time. Lots of pink, pink, pink, balloons, cutleries, serviettes, presents! Lots of food, games, and laughter all around! We played the pegs game where no one is allowed to say 'wedding' and whoever catches another person saying that one gets the person's clothes pegs.

We played the toilet paper gown game, where we dressed up the bride to be with the finest lace (toilet paper), silk (crepe paper) and silk thread (sticky tape). We really had fun! But the outrageous thing was that the organiser me was dragged along into the water and got dressed up as well! The injustice of it all! The last game we played was giving marriage advice... lots of people had funny advice, while others gave some really practical and good advice...
