Here is a picture of the bath boxes at Safety Beach. Perhaps it was the weather but there were not many people at the beach. It was almost deserted.
Next, we went to a walking track to Kings Falls. It is a 1km circuit walk to see a waterfall called.. wait for it... Kings Falls. It was too bad that the weather had been dry the last few days and so there was so waterfall to be seen. We did spot two kangaroos eating very close to the walking track though. They even hopped onto the walking track as though waiting for a photo op.
We also saw these unique wildflowers by the track. They look so pretty and bright that I just had to snap a photo.
Our accommodation was at Cape Schanck Holiday Villa. It is within the estate where the RACV Resort was, and right next to the resort's golf course. Entry is via a gate prominently displaying RACV Resort's logo but as one drives further into the estate, there were private accommodation not associated with the RACV. Some of the houses are leased as holiday accommodation when not in use by the owners. The picture above shows the view from the deck of our room. The sea is in the distant, we could see the waves lapping hungrily at the shore just like we were at the instant noodles we cooked in our room. The amenities in our room were above average. Baccarat pot and pan, Alex Liddy drinking glasses, induction cooktop, dishwasher, Sharp microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, Sheridan welcome mat, Samsung flat screen tv, Netflix, full size bottles of shampoo and shower gel, rain shower. It was just like staying at a friend's holiday home - a generous friend who is not stingy to share what they normally use for themselves.

For dinner, we went to Capel Sound to MG Souvlaki (My Greek Souvlaki) where we had the medium gyros pack ($41). It has a mix of lamb and chicken, pita bread, chips, a selection of dips (hummus, tzatziki, taramasalata), and salad (seafood, greek, potato). The meats were cooked horizontally over charcoal, just like in a charcoal chicken shop. I struck up a conversation with our server and owner, they were so friendly and genuine.
Our meal was fantastic. From the hot crispy chips and hot pita bread to the juicy chicken and lamb, I loved it all. The shop is open until 9:30pm and is perfect for a late dinner or snack. I think it is probably the best restaurant in Capel Sound.
