Held every Sunday, stall holders sell organic vegetables, plants, hot food, apparel and accessories, and trash (one man's trash is another's treasure!). I saw a man selling used golf balls, plastic bottles, even used soft drink cans. One stall consisted of a tarp laid out on the ground, with a big pile of 1980's cassette radios, old phones (the ones with dial faces), screwdrivers, and other assorted bits and bobs. I really wonder who would buy these stuff... maybe a professional hoarder?
There were also stalls selling home grown vegetables such as lemons, leeks, lettuces, capsicums etc. I browsed around, found nothing much I wanted to buy and left for home. Since I love my pies - meat pies, chicken pie, shepperd's pie, I decided to make a pie with pre packaged puff pastry, chicken pieces, leek, carrots and field mushrooms. The final product turned out very good, considering it's a first time pie.
