Taipei - Final Day
The next day, we went to the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial. It was the only place we had the time to visit in our limited time on the last day in Taiwan. On our way there, we passed by the National Theatre (below) where we saw many youth waiting outside the theatre while unabashedly practicing dancing. Looking at them made me miss my dancing days and the cockiness of youth!
Chiang Kai Shek Memorial - where there is a statue of him in the building, guarded by two guards.

Then it was time to take the bus to the airport. Good bye Taiwan!
